This was self catering but the welcome pack included milk tea and cake which was very nice. The bedrooms were lovely and there was a downstairs loo. The location was very good, close to the beach and great if you have a dog.

There was very little room for a table. If it was arranged differently perhaps a small table could have been included instead of a drop leaf large table, with chairs in a cupboard. This property is ideal for 2 people.

The room was spotless, the staff really really happy and helpful, the food lovely, and we appreciated that the bathroom was stocked with little toiletries and bottles of water in the room.

The location was very peaceful and the hot tub was amazing. The hosts were friendly and attentive. The cabin was beautiful. Free entrance to Hoo Zoo was a bonus!!

I found the photos misleading - my room was smaller than pictured. There was a smell coming from the drains, and the windows are single-glazed which is a real problem because the locals like to rev-up their souped-up cars on the Diamond late at night. The hosts seem to be aware of this - they provide a pair of earplugs to solve this problem, but secondary double-glazing would be a more professional approach.

The hotel is run like fawlty towers. After a six hour drive from Loch Ness arrived around 7 30 pm to find no one on reception. Advised to ring and someone would come to us which the receptionist duly did, we checked in after explaining we were exhausted and asking if the restaurant open as nowhere else to eat . We were given the key to our room and advised that we would need to let the kitchen know if we wanted to eat. After being shown to our room I made a tea and coffee and rang reception to reserve a table for 8pm but was asked if we could make it 8 15. Not a real problem, my wife was ironing some clothes ready for dinner and I took advantage of the additional time to take a shower, so I thought. Just got undressed in the bathroom when there was a knock on the door which turned out to be the receptionist advising my wife we were in the wrong room and would have to move. After getting dressed again and helping my wife wife pack she went down to reception to find out where we were staying and to get the key. Eventually got to our room which had an ironing board but no iron and didn't have time for a shower. Went to dinner which was reasonable but the chips were undercooked. A Travelodge or Premier Inn would have been a better option

No charging point by bed, bed side lamp didn’t work, tv would not turn on my friends room next door had same issue, No headboard on bed with paintwork behind pillow area badly marked room very tired.
