That was a lovley place to stay. The owner Gloria was very nice. Everything was extremly clean, even my towels were changed every day, that i wasn't expected. Also in a room was a ketle, tea, coffee and cream. And very nice to have a breakfast in the morning too!

The staff were friendly, we got a very warm welcome. The breakfast was good. The welcome pack In the room was good (fruit, tea, coffee, water, biscuits) Free wifi. Room was clean. Bed was small but comfy.

The room was awful. A double bed in a small single room. Not at all like the photos on the website. No space for 2 of us to stand up together to get dressed At the same time. Room looked and felt like a prison cell … white painted walls, paint slopped over fittings, hairdryer covered in paint and didn’t work. Room was clean but very tatty. Bed didn’t seem to be a full-sized double. Shower tray was cracked. Curtain rail was broken so we couldn’t open curtains easily. We couldn’t get tv channels on tv. Bathroom seemed new but hadn’t been finished off well - door had been primed, but not painted. Sheet and pillows were only one layer - no mattress or pillow protectors. There were two torn decorative cushions on the bed and a plastic plant in a pot, otherwise nothing to make the room feel cosy. We booked based on reviews, and chose a small independent over a chain of hotels - I wish we hadn’t. I cannot recommend this hotel at all. Thankfully we’re were only there for one (£200!) night!

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful, spotless cabin. 😍❤️ The hosts were very accomodating, even toured us around on their farm and the animals whom my little boy loved it very much. ❤️

Room is modern, clean and more importantly in the north warm. Staff were pleasant and breakfast selection was good. Toby carvery next door, so had a decent meal that evening as well.

Bad parking of other guests but that’s nothing they can do as it’s a shared car park with toby carvery.

The Porter of the guest house was very nice and the room was superclean and well decorated. Car parking was free

on arrival the toilet had a milk sachet in it and a blue rubber glove on the back of the toilet..Also when got up in the morning we found something was missing from the bathroom that we had brought with us. told reception who looked into it..Told us to email the manager Also first night continental breakfast was toast.butter spooned on plate. and jam. tea or coffee .second morning slightley better
