The staff were very friendly. Rooms are clean and warm with comfortable beds, a great tv, tea/coffee and biscuits. Bathroom a good size and spotless. A short bus ride to the bus/train stations and the shops. We couldn't have chosen better. My 83 year old mum was thrilled as she'd lived in Chorley in the late '60s with my dad when my sister was a baby and my dad was attending the teaching college. We spent what would have been his 85th birthday walking through Astley Park and looking at their old house. Just perfect.

The bedroom floor was soaking wet. We were told the room upstairs shower flooded, but the ceiling was dry and no sign of flood from above! Chris the owner, arrived when I called to say the floor was wet and proceeded to tell me about the ?flood - however this was not mentioned on check in and only noticed when returning in the evening. There was a strong smell of cleaning fluid. We were offered a refund if we decided to leave which we accepted, but two weeks on I still have no refund. AVOID!!!
