The location was perfect, the property was spacious and bonus point: a balcony to chill out. The host replied messages and answered the phone calls quickly, really helpful. The flat was on the top floor which made us hear no neighbours' sounds in the building. The kitchen and washing machine were both nice and functioning. The property was clean. They had some different type of the wall socket plate for charging in the bathroom.

The pots in the kitchen need a serious upgrade. The steep and narrow staircase is not easy to climb with suitcases. The sound in the road: you can count the number of the cars passing in front of the house by counting the sound of that manhole cover being passing over.

Clean and tidy apartment. Good WiFi and facilities. 7 minute or so walk from town centre. Bout 35 minutes walk to racecourse (where I was working) Good communication to gain access (via WhatsApp)

Window was damaged and broken allowing drafts Room noisy from both outside and adjoining room door. Did not like the fact that could hear occupants in adjacent room. Beer delivery lorry at 06.00am with banging, shouting and swearing was not the alarm call I was expecting!

Perhaps we should have been advised about the renovations. There was a plastic screen in the hallway just outside our bedroom. We informed them of our blocked shower drain and was eventually fixed after the 3rd day. Damp smell in room even with window open. No powerpoint near kettle.
