The size and quality of the room was exceptional, great to have a room with so much space and ventilation. The location was excellent 5 minute walk to town centre and the Cathedral. We were made to feel welcome from the start of our visit and nice little extras in the room, eg a carafe of sherry and crisps. Good bathroom shampoos from LOccitane.

The staff changed our room for us as they advised the annex that I had booked would be too small for 2 large dogs. The room we were allocated was spacious and had a rear door excellent for us and 2 dogs. Very clean friendly staff dog friendly fabulous location. Will definately come back here.

Service was friendly, I like places like this. I try to stay away from the national chains... breakfast was good.

Wanted a quiet room with a double bed. Got a room close to the kitchen extractor which kept me awake and it wasn't a double it was 2 single beds pushed together which was uncomfortable. The wifi was intermittent at best and to be told the incorrect time for breakfast.... disappointed.

There was no desk because the room was too small to have one. window did not open very far and the radiator in the toilet was on making it quite warm. I asked for a fan and they looked a little gone out at my request.

Disappointed with my evening meal, ordered soup for a starter all other colleagues had finished before I got mine. Ordered a steak for main, medium well, came rare, so asked for it to be cooked a little more came back burnt and tough/ all farmers so knew about meat! Rate my meal 2/10. Again when it came back others had mostly finished.staff were fine and apologetic.
