Really well located and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Right next to pleasure beach which was the reason for our visit. We made use of the rum pub on site which was great and we could play checkers along with some other fun games he has for customers. Amazing value for money breakfast and lovely clean room. We travelled from Pembrokeshire Wales so we were really grateful to arrive somewhere as lovely as this for a good nights sleep.

Really nothing of note! We booked the small double which was enough space for us, the only tiny thing I would say is that plug socket space isn’t great with none by the bed and and 2 plugs by the kettle, but they are too close to the desk to fit in a standard iPhone charger. They do have standard USB ports by the 3 pin plug ports which is helpful but we had USB C Chargers with our iPhones so this didn’t work. Important to note there are complimentary charging points in the breakfast area and pub though.

Needing accommodation near M5 I chose The Bridge Inn having stayed here before. I booked two rooms a family room and a double. All rooms were spotlessly clean. We stayed at the bar for the evening and enjoyed good quality food at a great price. (BLC discount helped) We followed the food with a few beers, a game or two of pool before hitting the sack. Great breakfast the following day too.

Very well equipped and well kept apartment in a location very convenient for York center On site parking felt very secure. Excellent communications with the owners - any minor questions were quickly answered The owners were very helpful even offering a ride to the garage when our car needed some work Easy lift access to the apartment

The car park was secure but taking bags from and too the car involved stairs and a lot of doors - not so easy for those with limited mobility. It would have been easier if we had left the car in the parking just outside the building door for a few minutes (but the apartment owner warned of possible fines if we did that without getting a ticket - and the signage gave the impression this was very likely).

A fantastic weekend. Staff could not be more helpful. Made us very welcome. The grounds were lovely to spend time in. Room was so lovely. Can't wait to return.

We love this hotel, it is close to bars, restaurants, the river and everything we love about York. It has become our hotel of choice for York.

All of it was good. We had a nice friendly welcome. Bedroom and en-suite was good. Lots of tea, coffee, milk etc. Great value.
