  The staff on front desk were fantastic and I am extremely sorry but I forget their names, firstly I needed to change my room to a twin and it wouldn't allow me to on booking.com and the front desk guy did it for me over the phone. Then upon checkout at 5am (to catch an early flight) I realised I left my sunglasses in the room. I called and they found them and within 24hrs they had posted them back to me. My father and I had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and extremely good value for money, we had 2 steak dinners with sides and wine and throughly enjoyed it.

  The rooms are cleverly designed and nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, location was great we were at an event in the Excel centre and it was a quick journey there. Hotel is right next to the DLR station. Nice to have free tea and coffee much appreciated

  The common area/ breakfast area was not so nice. It felt like a shed. I don't think the breakfast was worth £10 so didn't opt for this.

  The peace, the view, the birdsong, the location and the facilities. The hosts are nearby but were extremely respectful of my privacy.
