The location was ideal for us. The presentation of the accommodation was lovely and there were some nice welcoming touches provided such as coffee maker with pods, microwave and fridge, chocolates and water.

The shower tray did not drain out, after running it for 1 or 2 minutes it felt like it was going to overflow so we’d be constantly turning the water on/off. The temperature of the water didn’t seem to correspond with the settings in the shower either. The water at the sink would be warm for the first few seconds then cold. There were a few ants around the sofa / kettle area. This wasn’t bad enough to bother us particularly, but it may bother others. The host gave us a mobile phone number to contact if we had any problems. We txt about the shower tray on the day of arrival. We received a reply saying all the right things, but it took a good 4/5 hours to receive this. Upon leaving we txt about the sink and ants but no reply whatsoever, even a week later.

We were offered 2 rooms instead of 1, which my kids loved. Breakfast was lovely with plenty choice.

On our departure time the keycard wouldn't work. Maintenance had to be called to sort this out. But this was done quickly, since we had a bus to catch. No sockets near the bed.

The noise from the music below was very, very loud so sleep was not possible until it all stopped. The pillows were very lumpy.
