The staff were fabulous, could not have been more helpful. Food excellent in both the restaurant and Anni's Hideaway, the Apple Strudel transports you to Austria, that good. You can walk from the ferry terminal to the hotel, as it is centrally situated you are amongst the shops and restaurants. There is a bus stop close by and a taxi rank but if you need the bus terminus it is only a maximum ten minutes walk. You can get fresh milk from the reception. Slip mats are provided for the bath.

If you have a bath over the shower it can be quite a step into it, though there is a substantial handle on the wall.

The view from our room windows was over an area that the hotel seemed to be using to dump their old chairs - a bit of screening would go a long way to making it more pleasant. Hotel was catering for large tour groups, and felt a bit motel like - lacking in charm. Breakfast was cleared away on the dot of 9.30 am (?) even though we hadn't yet had our hot food.

They should really tell you when their accommodation is over four floors. We are both in our mid sixties. So although not infirm we are not teenagers either. It should be stated that you will have to deal with multiple stairs. A place like that is impossible to keep clean. The kitchen smelled mouldy. Not one hand rail in the whole place. Who has to strip their own bedding and bag thier own rubbish out for the bin men if possible?? Never heard that one in forty years of traveling. Never had to post many negative reviews either. Be open and honest. It's a good job we didn't bring the Grandchildren. No television. Not that we want to sit and watch tely all day but . . . Master bedroom is on top floor. Please don't leave anything in the Kitchen it's three floors down. Deal great. Location great. Accommodation not.
