The Nook is in the centre of Holmfirth so really handy for all the local attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our superior family room was lovely. An added bonus was breakfast was included and there was a choice between continental and full cooked breakfast. We opted for the cooked breakfast which was delicious! We'll definitely stay at The Nook again the next time we're in Holmfirth.

The staff were all approachable and friendly, especially April working on the bar. The hotel itself was beautiful, and we both enjoyed soaking in all its rich history. We also really enjoyed the entertainment on an evening, great team.

The location was excellent for the concert we attended and not far from the main Bullring Shopping centre. Clean and tidy but could do with a freshen up in the rooms. Amazing staff. Excellent choice at breakfast.

Didn't like the toilet in the room as it made me feel claustrophobic and also not in the main bathroom. Cost of parking was a bit much at £18 for one nights stay.

Location was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Apartment was tidy and had everything needed. The bathroom was modern and water pressure was good. Nice bathroom products were also very nice.

The property is located in a lovely little hamlet with great walks on the doorstep and 2 excellent pubs serving freshly made food. It he beds and sofas are lovely and comfortable.

There is no outside space which is a shame (although it is not advertised with any so we expected this) given the setting. It would appear to be possible to have either a some benches or chairs to the front or rear of the property. A small sink in the ensuite would be preferable. The property could do with a deep clean (kitchen floor, lights etc) and some redecoration (paintwork). Would also help to have some basic provisions ie washing up liquid and kitchen roll etc but not a deal breaker.

The location. This is not to say that we won't stay again as it serves the purpose of what we need when we visit our daughter in university.

The room, was not clean. The carpet was not vacuumed, the bathroom floor had not been swept or mopped. There was dust on side tables and on kettle station. The deluxe room was not a deluxe room and certainly not worth what I paid for the night. Parking, should not be advertised!

Breakfast ample but *really* cutting corners with quality - awful smoothie, terrible mocha, dry scrambled eggs, did they actually cook the mushroom? V bad at 4 star level.
