that there was a separate full kitchen available stocked with good coffee sugar and milk supplied that there was a washing machine for clothes available that the location was very good being in the old city and handy to Waverley rail station that there was a large bunch of bananas available that the key was labelled with my name on it and it showed the room number

There was only 3x types of cereal available, no mueseli or weetbix that we didnt receive any email about check in procedure but fortunately were able to phone the owner who was very helpful in explaining where the keys were and how to access them.

Room was of the expected high standard with good space and excellent comfort. Very well insulated. Ideal location right at T2. Had a lovely evening there after a 13 hour drive relaxing in the rooftop bar with brilliant views over the airport.

Well appointed cottage, tastefully decorated throughout. Ideally located to explore North Northumberland. Providing continental breakfast was an added bonus. Anna &Hugo are excellent hosts and the three dogs are adorable,

The bar closed incredibly early, we booked here so we could experience an English style pub environment. We flew in from Australia and checked in at 8pm, the bar was full, we lugged our bags up three flights, got back down to the bar at 9pm and it was closed, the barman had called last drinks and everyone left. He did reluctantly pour us one, which we were grateful for, but then went on to do the oddest things with the female bar staff. He wrapped his ‘whole head’ from the top, down to his neck in cling film…yep cling film… almost got stuck getting it off, couldn’t breathe and panicked, all while the female staff member watched on and giggled away. I’m not sure what kind of flirting this was but it was hard to watch in that tiny room, but at the same time I couldn’t look away as it was so bizarre. I joked to my husband it was drinks and a show for 350 pounds… Five or six other people were turned away the young girl rolling her eyes as they walked in and the barman happily saying, we are closed. We drank up and left. It was an incredibly expensive stay to experience this type of behaviour.

The floor lamp was not working. When I used the socket outlet to charge my phone within reception area near WC, was not working. Carpark too expensive

Arrived on a Sunday around 4:00p. Went for Dinner around 7:00p and it was strangely quiet. Ordered two meals for myself & wife. Meals arrived promptly but they looked to be of poor quality. In fact, we were so disappointed that after grinding our way through approx. 50% of the main course we decided to walk away to seek food away from this hotel as we were away that several other options were open along the pedestrian mall.

Rooms design with all front wall are with big glasses as if you’re sleeping in street. Everyone can see you in your room. You must close the blinds all the way so you end up no window or everyone see you
