A stunningly beautiful home in an inspiring rural landscape The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and the dinner prepared by Dominique was outstanding, lovingly prepared using local ingredients. We highly recommend taking advantage of the evening meal option. Dominique was most helpful in suggesting local sights and we spent 4 lovely days at Dale House. Do yourself a favor and book for a few days to really take in the beauty of this beautiful landscape

I am solo traveller. Property is unsafe for solo travellers. I really had a very bad experience. Even I complained to the team they didn’t take any actions. I booked for 17 nights and I checkout within 2 nights . They don’t even refund me 60% of my pay also

The hotel is in the centre and a few minutes walk from the train station, it was next to the venue I was visiting and also a short walk if anyone wants to go shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful

When walking into the hotel, the downstairs is beautiful and up to date, Upstairs could also do with updating to match the reception and dining area. The only issue we had was the stairway and doors were very narrow and the doors were stiff to open and close with not alot of room to go through if only 1 door was opened. But considering all of this, the hotel was lovely and perfect if you want to stay somewhere in the city centre

Very clean, has all you need, pristine bedding, towels, comfortable beds. Very quiet location, tranquil and beautiful.

Hard to think what one may not like. The only thing you definitely need a car to get to lakes and places of interest.

Stunning location - friendly staff who offered us extras to compensate for the lack of any hot water
Negative section of review
There was a problem with hot water - apparently they had tried to contact me to warn me and offer a cancellation but we were travelling. Our lovely room had curtains that were is shreds on the side, a chair with the underneath hanging down and a dirty skirting board by my bed.

The area was nice and the hotel was a nice building

2/4 elevators were broken. The rooms were not cleaned properly. The bar was taking last calls from 21:30 very early in my opinion and some of the staff were not very joyful.

Complimentary water on the 1st 2 nights then it stopped. Told only given on 1st night. If you stay 1 night you get water other nights you get none or pay. 5 single nights you would get water each night. A small thing but it’s the principle and claim to be a top hotel. Weatherspoons hotels give it free every night.
