The caravan was lovely and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. It was clean, very well equipped. Very close to the site entrance as stated and within walking distance of fantasy island, the beach, and too much more to mention in-between. We had an amazing weekend and would highly recommend booking. Would also add was a very nice communication with Andy and sarah throughout the trip. Which made us very comfortable. Would highly recommend Mcnevin Family Caravans.

The location is perfect. Near a public car park and literally overlooking the beach. We have stayed twice, both times booking the sea view family room. The view itself makes the booking worth every penny! It’s stunning. Albeit breakfast comes at an additional cost, it’s brilliant. Great value too. The bar/restaurant area is very tastefully decorated.

The rooms are dated and basic. Some of the staff are a little blunt. That said, others are fantastic. Internet coverage is very limited. There is an elevator, yet stairs must also be climbed to get to rooms. Not ideal with luggage.

Very clean studio with good shower and kitchen area. All our property was at ground floor level as I have mobility issues as some properties are up an outdoor staircase. Shout out to the restaurant and staff too. Excellent service, choice and value for money.

Parking was first come etc. quite busy when we stayed and it’s quite steep to walk up if you have to park back down towards the site exit.

Excellent view of Eastbourne Pier from room. Good size bathroom. Excellent standard of fitments. Room was on the small size but adequate for our requirements. Staff were very professional. Breakfast was a particularly pleasant experience.

Nothing to fault. Perhaps a menu outside restaurant would be nice. No sign of a Fixed Price Menu which may have tempted us in.

Not sure where to start with this place really 😳.. on arrival outside the property was an old fridge freezer and a car battery.. not great first impression but they cannot control the actions of other tenants. On entering the apartment it looked quite quirky but as we brought our stuff in it became clear this apartment had not been cleaned in a long while. We had to clean the fridge with wipes before we put our stuff in, there wasn’t a dish cloth or tea towel available. The dining table was set out as a dinner set but no point in this when the table is really mucky and the pots aren’t clean. The floors hadn’t been mopped, there were spilt drinks on them, the amount of dust was from a long period of time, the windows hadn’t been cleaned for a long time either…I had to wipe the dust out of the drawers before I put our stuff in..there wasn’t one coat hanger or wardrobe to hang anything up and we were booked for six nights. On a whim I thought I’m just going to check the bedding…..NEVER EVER have I been to a property that did not have pristine, clean bedding!! I could overlook all of the other things but someone else’s smelly bedding is unforgivable!! They were covered in hairs, smelt of other people and had some awful, unpleasant stains!! If there had been any spare sheets I would have probably put them to save having to ring to complain… I am far from a princess and had there been a mop, cleaning products I would have just cracked on…however there wasn’t so I had to call Finestretreats.. not ideal when you have just driven 3 hours.. the lady was very apologetic and said she would get onto housekeeping straight away.. after a little bit of backwards and forwards, two ladies came to put clean sheets on.. they did ask if they wanted us to sort anything else but the sun was shining and we wanted to get out and de stress…it really needed a deep clean!! We sent all the pictures we had taken to Finest so they could assess..

The oven only had 1 shelf rack that fit / the microwave had a ‘ mind of its own ‘ no instructions so making meals was abit awkward- it was quite damp in places - need to explain that the front door opens directly onto a busy road - a lot of cobwebs
