The second I walked in I felt at home, such a cosy, lovely house with so many lovely features! Very close to harbour, shops and beach I didn't want to leave and it made my stay extra special Very peaceful relaxing home Nikki was always there's with any queries and made me feel so welcome I will be back!! 😊

Great welcome . We were shown our roomm and explanation of facilities. Really jovial and pleasant hosts who gave advice re local restaurants. Really friendly vibe throughout the stay. Would come back happily Nice room , great decor throughout.

Nothing not to like . Some people might like to know that tea and coffee facilities are in the hall adjacent to room...not a problem for us . The mirror in room is nowhere near a plug so take an extension lead ...sorted !!

The School House Cottage was home from home, breakfast was a full English and was exceptional, the bedroom had everything you good wish for and was decorated to a very high standard and so pretty, cottage was so close to the centre of village

It was my wife's birthday treat and the hotel could not have done more to make it enjoyable, our room was upgraded and we were given some vouchers for free drinks, I really think the staff were on top form and made our stay so perfect

If I had to be picky I think the lift was to small for the hotel and some of the facilities were in the adjoining hotel but that didn't spoil our stay.

Friendly welcome from host(s) who obviously enjoy their role. Nicely presented room with all amenities, fridge stocked with milk and bottled water, kettle and plenty of tea and coffee was a nice touch as well.

There was nothing we didn't like apart from maybe needing an extra pillow or two on the bed but that is all!

Very peaceful location, very comfortable bed and good quality bed linen and large towels. Lots of hot water and good range of choices for breakfast.

Note should be taken that there are no showers, but this is pointed out in the owners comments on booking, so shouldn't come as a surprise.

The staff were polite and friendly. The location was good for me. Bed sheets were cleaned the bed was comfortable.

Mouldy window overlooking a scrap service yard. The smell in the corridor was unpleasant. Dusty, dirty, and mouldy fixtures and fittings. Stains on towels. The room is in dire need of an update.
