The welcome bottle of wine and box of chocolates was a nice touch. The location was peaceful, with a very scenic beach at the end of the drive. The bed was very comfortable…..but the bedroom was the only room with a view, which may have been improved if there wasn’t a football goalpost/net in the way!! The small bedroom looked out onto the cars at the back, and all the other rooms had velux windows in the ceilings. The kitchen was very adequate, but by the end of the week I still hadn’t really figured out how to use the microwave without referring to the handbook every time!!! The television was great, and it was also great to be able to simply use the heating on chilly evenings and mornings. Also, the torch was a very helpful addition!

The view out of the main bedroom window. A simpler microwave. There was no towel in the kitchen, and no paper towels. The throw on the settee was rather mobile, and had pet hair on it….so obviously some people hadn’t read the instruction “no dogs on the furniture”.

The majority of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The evening meals were lovely, cooked breakfast cool but as expected from a buffet meal. Room was spacious and a very big bed but the ensuite was very small, I would have knocked a foot off the bed and added it to the bathroom. The hotel was in a good position, a short walk from the beach and town centre. Over all we enjoyed our stay but thought it was over priced.

Billing for dinner items was confusing, just a list of amounts, so hard to know if I had been charged for the correct menu items.

Great location, apartment very clean and receptionist was very helpful.

The apartment was a very long walk from the basement parking area to have to carry all our luggage. Very disappointed that there were no cups or mugs in the apartment and had to get the receptionist to get some. Could not see any instructions for any appliances and until just before checkout when we saw they were very high up on top of one of the kitchen cupboards. The receptionist was kind enough to get me logged in to the wifi as could not see the code anywhere.
