Delicious breakfast options included in the stay. Much recommended place !!   This is a great hotel, large clean comfortable rooms, a big choice for breakfast and all of it good and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is wonderful because it is in the middle of the university campus so no emergency vehicle sirens going off during the night.

  There happened to be a wedding that night and the although we were on the second floor we still were disturbed by the very loud music, which fortunately came to an end at 10 pm.

  Clean and well appointed value chalet. Had everything we needed, value for money. Close to shop and cafe. Car park short walk away. Was allowed to park outside of chalet to load and unload, made things easy.

  A bit noisy when traffic went by. Chalets opposite were pet friendly and unfortunately there was a lot of barking from dogs at times. Sofa could have been a bit more comfortable. Table lamp / light next to the bed would have been appreciated.

  The location is the best thing about this place. Right down a wonderful pathway from the town center overlooking a marsh with tremendous views of the Cathedral

  The place is understaffed. You have to look around the place to find someone to help you. Most times we found them in the Kitchen area. Booking a table for dinner did not work out. Although booked, they were not ready for us and only one other table in the place had anyone at it. Naturally the one we had booked.

  The rooms were so run down and dated, not what I would expect for the price. Black tape over doors, got put in wrong room, booking.com told them a double bed not 2 doubles. Very disappointed all round would not stay again.
