The whole place was spotless. The owners were so friendly which added to the expierience. The room was spacious with a great view and balcony. Breakfast was light and tasty and again service was amazing. Can't fault the place at all.

Stairs- very steep, half steps, no full hand rail on one sides, potentially dangerous especially down. Only suitable for nimble, slim guests 1 wineglass and tumbler-2 of each would be good. List of kitchen goods- mention coffee cafetieres, no oven etc

We were situated in room one which is right at the front of the property right next to the front door. The blinds didn’t actually cover the whole of the window meaning that people could see inside no matter what we did, this wasn’t very good considering it was on a main road. Secondly because of the location of the room we heard people coming in every single hour from midnight. The room also had a very very strong smell of drains. There were also stains on the bed sheets.

Oven didn’t work for 95% of our stay - told no one available to come and look. Was given the code for the fuse board door late on Saturday night - we’d already eaten out for all of the trip by then at this point because of it. Also a lot of repair work needs doing - wardrobe doors hanging off, buttons coming off cushions, various scrapes, stains on walls. Lots of the window blinds need fixing. Whoever had been in before us had not cleaned any kitchen utensils. Showers still had hairs in. TV in living room hanging off wall, barely worked as WiFi very slow. Couldn’t use for most of the time. Deposit system is slightly dubious - it wouldn’t come out of one bank account - it stayed stuck on pending. Was made to pay on another. When I questioned what would happen if £400 came out wasn’t given a response. Currently awaiting for the deposit refund but no reply after two messages sent today.
