The hotel is very beautiful although it was converted from a jail. We was very fortunate to be upgraded. The front desk customer service staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Ran out of ice on a Saturday night! The bar staff told us they have three ice machines that all pack up when the temperature picks up. The room was so hot and the Aircon ineffective, I am guessing it wasn't turned on centrally. The breakfast was very good but the bar food and restaurant offering is expensive and average, it's the same menu and charges £20 for a bar pizza! There are pubs just across the road for food. Small things that are easily rectified but wouldn't stop me booking again.

Staff were excellent, as were the beer and the food. Loved sitting outside at the top of the garden.

The pub at the ground floor is to much noisy but stops at 11h. Must be avoid during champions league weeks.

An appalling area, the hotel is desperately in need of money being spent. Ripped carpets and most worryingly the locks on the doors are very lose.

Location, quiet.

The lights weren’t working. The fridge/freezer wasn’t turned on so couldn’t put frozen food away. The shower didn’t work properly, the temp gauge was stuck on hot. Whoever stayed in there last had left windows unlocked and there wasn’t a key to lock the door from the terrace into the bedroom which made us feel unsafe. The radiators are on a timer and we couldn’t turn them off and it was already 28 degrees outside so uncomfortable.
