Loved how easy it was to communicate with John and Inna before our visit. I had messaged just to check which room we were going to be allocated after having issues previously via Booking.com and I also messaged about our arrival time. I received really quick responses. We had room 9 - super comfy super king bed. Tasty continental brekkie! On arrival John met us at the front door and showed to our room. It was a lovely personal welcome. Plenty of convenient parking right outside as well which was one of the reasons why I booked The Parks.

The hotel is a converted 1930s house which is beautiful, but it meant that the window in our room - room 9 - on the second floor was very low, and I was nervous about my 5 year old being anywhere near the window because the bars at the bottom were not new and the window opened fully outwards. However... there was a small coffee table (laden with tea and coffee which was excellent!) I was able to move in front of the window to block it which meant he couldn't reach the bars nor the window!

This stay was amazing 😀 4 generations of us on a long weekend family get together ❤️ oldest being 86 youngest 16 months 💕 everything we needed was there. Beds were unbelievably comfortable for all of us. All the extras included, kitchen roll, hand wash, tea towels, loads of glasses, lovely soft towels, foil, washing machine bubbles etc etc, we didn't need to buy anything 😀 Thank you x

There is nothing that we didn't like! 10/10 Everything was perfect 👌 to us a dishwasher instead of a washing machine would have been preferable but only because there was 7 of us and none of us like washing up!!!😅 This is not a criticism by any means x

Great location and everything we needed. Very stylish decor and fittings. Fun place to stay & comfortable beds / seating areas. Nice touch having tea / coffee and milk available for us and the bottle of fizz was a lovely bonus! The perfect place to stay and we’ll definitely come back!

As a group of 5 women it would have better / quicker if we had an extra shower but we made it work.

It was a good location as my Daughter got married at the venue next door we stayed here after the wedding as didn't want to drive home to Yorkshire day after and it was a great cheaper alternative to the expensive 2 nights at the wedding Benue Le Petite Chateau

The weather was a little unkind for the end of May heating wasn't on but had small wall heater in bathroom and portable one in wardrobe but this was noisy when TV was on we were having a chilled day after the 2 days at the wedding but not really a bother as the B&B wasn't busy as middle of week.

The host is very professional. We had a great fun staying at the property. Property has a great view of Devis and Black Mountain. Short taxi from the city centre, use local taxis like Gransha Taxis, or Fona. The hosue is well equipped and comfy. 100% recommended.

Everything. Whole house was dirty... No hot water... No plugs in the sinks... Stained toilets... Garden had a pile of rubbish in the middle and a shopping trolley... Beds, five... three had proper bedding and two just blankets... and three had bed bugs!! Our two sons stayed up all night and watched TV... I am a pensioner and was shattered otherwise I would have driven the 250 miles home straight away.
