Good location near the station, short walk to shops, restaurants, bars, sea front. Bar had a nice atmosphere and the breakfast/other food were all good value. Worked our way through half the cocktail menu which were all well made. It had quite a nice outside area at the real. And seemed well frequented.

As a lot have already mentioned in various reviews music plays until about 2am Fri/Sat. We knew about it before hand and after a good meal/few drinks/nice walk depending on where your room is, it’s likely you won’t hear it for long. Of 4 of us it was only me that took a while to nod off! It wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Clean unfussy room, bar area is quite welcoming though drinks are expensive.

Reception staff were rude and unwelcoming. TV in the room was broken and though staff agreed to a partial refund this has not been administered. Shower had a poor pressure and the shampoo dispenser was broken Expensive considering the facilities and service.

For the price paid, I would expect more than a rather poor continental breakfast which contained zero protein and almost 100% carbohydrate. At the very least they could include cold meats and cheeses and maybe some fresh rolls rather than a sliced loaf. Coffee bags and a hot water dispenser - really?

Room was hot States breakfast included which we were under the impression it would be a full cooked breakfast. No where did it state continental breakfast only, we wouldn’t have booked this had the breakfast option been stated when booking, misleading and very disappointing and over priced due to this. Change your information on the booking site to display what you actually offer.

A lot of Road noise and the room we were in was next to the boiler room and the air conditioning would not go off, room was far to hot.
