  Clink261 never misses the mark (see my previous reviews) and I am already preparing to book my next stay on my next trip to the UK. The breakfast is excellent (even compared to a hotel breakfasts). If you are starting to try out solo travelling, I would recommend giving Clink a shot - you will get hooked! Helpful staff, luggage storage is amazing, location even better

  Lyn and Lee were fabulous hosts and offered above and beyond. Room was more spacious than anticipated with private bath. Quiet even with being on the main road. Delicious breakfast and even vegetarian options (including vegetarian haggis)! And having tea and coffee in the room was nice to have.

  When the heat turned on, it was sweltering when I got back to the room, and I couldn't open the window to cool it down quickly. But I could turn off the radiator and it was fine.

  Check in was straight forward, room was clean and quite spacious, although the decor was basic. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom well equipped. Breakfast was adequate with some choice, but again no frills.

  Styling of the room could have been less utilitarian to create a more relaxing environment especially as there is no view from the window. The food offered in the bar/restaurant was uninspiring, but to be fair most guests are not using the hotel as a holiday destination!
