Location is quite nice having the shops and restaurants across the road. It also avoided the traffic of the city centre which is always welcome. The bed and pillow offering were nice and comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The hotel furniture and rooms really need an uplift. All feels and looks very outdated. Cleanliness can also be better. My bathroom/toilet was not spotless. The shower in the room was too close to the wall so I bumped my head several times when trying to get under the shower. Room service got some of the details wrong every time i ordered (they brought Ice when I asked not to and did not bring ice when I did ask for. Also they brough me drinks twice without opening the bottle caps. The room did not have a bottle opener). The placement of the 2 point plug is also not sufficient. The first night it didn't work, my phone battery was completely flat (then after I switched off and on the mirror switch it started working). Finally the aircon was not working in my room. The staff kindly offered a fan but this is not the same.

Lovely cottage, modern and very very clean. Good location for us to visit the area. Nice and comfortable, good TV,not far from the shops. Nice back garden to sit out in, quiet area. Kitchen was really good with modern recent appliances.

Unmade road was not a problem really as it is only a short distance from the proper road at one end.

Excellent location and bar restaurant area was super stylish, although busy was not at all rowdy! Very cool. Very comfortable bed, lovely pillows, great linen. Very good and powerful hairdryer provided.

There were a few essentials that were missing from the room, that were a slight problem but easily fixable… No full length mirror. No drawers, only a tiny hanging rail with four hangers. No shelf/container in the shower to place my own products.
