Positive section of review
We spent two nights in the hostel in the double room (Queen size bed). The hostel was quite clean and the staff very friendly. There is a large kitchen with a lot of equipment to make your own meals, and the hostel offers the possibility to buy breakfast (granola, milk, yogurt, fruit, bread and jam, with vegan options) and a pre-cooked microwavable dinner (with a few vegetarian options), which was great as there are no shops in Lochranza.
Negative section of review
Although the hostel was quite clean, I would recommend deep cleaning the rooms/common areas more often- there was quite some dust below our bed and in the corners of our room, not a big problem but it can be improved ;) Also, it would be nice to have some small lights next to the bed in the rooms.

The location was very central. The flat was clean and the kitchen very modern with most of the things you would need for a holiday stay. No noise from neighbours next door- eg people coming and going. It was good to have some fans as the apartment was hot with the good weather. We could leave our luggage at the hotel across the street on the last day.

Lack of mirrors. There was only one in the bathroom so blow drying hair was difficult. The bar across the street was noisy on the Saturday night but stopped at 11pm. The flat decor was fresh and clean but a bit bland.

Lots of space very comfy had a well equipped kitchen and only around 10-15 min walk to the harbour

Only one thing to complain about was the dripping tap in bedroom we did phone about it and nobody turned up to repair it
