  Great location - a short 10 minute walk to Acton Town station for links to Central London. At short notice I needed to reduce my stay from 4 to 3 nights - this request was completed promptly by CWGH which I appreciated. I had an enjoyable stay, a comfortable bed and hot tea/ coffee refreshments. The room was clean, and adjacent to a communal kitchen if you are in need of heating a meal or storing cold drinks. Chatsworth Guest House communicated access well on arrival. Recommended for a short stay

  I was situated on the ground floor. The floorboards above me were quite thin and so you can hear loud footsteps from the guest above. With the property being close to a hospital/ police station, hearing sirens are common but it’s manageable

  Location was excellent - adjacent to York Minster (highly recommend the evening service if you cannot schedule a tour during the day) and the Shambles, many restaurants. We used a taxi to get to the rail station, but with less luggage the distance should be walkable. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were very helpful and attentive. There is a lift to get to the upper floors.

  Room and ensuite bathroom were small, cramped. There was an air conditioning unit in our room which was too noisy to run at night. We left a window open and could hear people talking very late at night.
