Thrift Cottage is centrally located in a quiet road, close to the harbour, restaurants and shops. It has been lovingly renovated and refurbished and is a an excellent holiday property. The beds are very comfortable and the cottage is well furnished with quality appliances etc.It also has a very pleasant garden/patio. It’s very easy to contact the owners, Anna & Chris, by message or mobile if you have a query and they are very helpful. We were delighted with the cottage and hope to return sometime.

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Excellent position right on the front.

The hot water at breakfast came in a flask and was never hot enough for the tea making. I think a proper hot water machine would be much better. Coffee was very bitter and also never hot enough.

Close to the centre. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Breakfast was fantastic and the food served in the restaurant in the evening looked really nice. We will eat in there next visit.

Spotlessly clean the whole place. Breakfast variety was brilliant and very tasty. Loved the honesty bar and very reasonably priced . the whole place is just stunning.

Location was very good. Facilities in the cottage were also very good. Parking for the car was very good.

Shower pressure was very poor but we think the pump switch was off. We were never informed about this. Discovered this on the day we were leaving. The cottage and facilities otherwise were very good.

The room was not in the main building and it was smaller than mentioned. The 'bathroom' wasn't like the pictures, one toilet for 16(32?) guests, the shower is as well one for 4 rooms. And the main problem is the cages for the lugguages under the beds. They are very-very noisy, nobody could use it in silence, no matter how much attention do you pay. It is not good in a dormitory.
