The staff, the bar and the breakfast were excellent. The close neighbourhood is pleasant and green to walk around. The building is characterful at the front, but the bedroom in the extension where we stayed is modern and bland. The room was fine, but no more.

The hosts were expectionally responsive. The location was perfect for walks and beautiful scenery. The amenities were great and lovely loving space for socialising. Local shop and pubs within minutes walk.

The garden could have been maintained better and the lock ups that were rented out could have been sectioned off better and more aesthetically pleasing. Some of the mattresses were uncomfortable.

Looks exactly like the photos shown. Very spacious and clean. Had all the appliances we needed in the kitchen. The beds were quite comfy and the sofas were quite big and comfy.

The house warden wasn’t that welcoming coming into the apartment and was a bit rude. Also be aware of paying for it as before you even get there you need to pay £100 deposit and it doesn’t say on here that you have to pay a deposit. Only then you have to wait a few days after you leave the apartment before you get your deposit back

Car park was crowded and when I reported some careless parking near the entrance where 2 cars were taking up 4 spaces, nothing was done to contact the drivers and ask them to move and re-park. Surprised you charged me £8 to park my car. I expected car parking to be included free of charge like most hotels do. Restaurant wasn't open at lunchtime when it was extremely busy with lots of people wanting to eat before the Bruce Springsteen concert. Only the crowded bar area was open with just 3 staff who kept disappearing! It took an hour for my burger and chips to be served after ordering - very poor! You could have anticipated this and opened the restaurant.
