Location is fantastic and parking is good as it's close by and discounted although I had already booked it separately. Not sure if there's anything when you book on the normal website but perhaps just indicate that parking is available and discounted The staff were absolutely fantastic every single one of them. Very relaxed very friendly and really helpful. The bed and the pillows were incredibly comfortable and the room itself was spot on.

The dining facilities are shared as a bar restaurant that the public can walk into from the street it seems which wasn't a problem for us as it was relatively quiet breaking on match days when Newcastle are playing at home it would be very busy and very noisy. Not a huge criticism but more so a idea could be that with the being such a big area you could have a separate part that has hotel diners only even if it means they have to access the normal bar. Just seemed a little bit loud and expansive for a hotel dining facility.

I have stayed at this hotel before and really like it's location for both the lake outlook and for my work in the area. Staff were pleasant and helpful as normal. The room was comfortable with free wi-fi. Food in both the evening and breakfast, with fried eggs also offered with the latter, cooked to order (not buffet). Breakfast from 06.30am. Well located for my work.

I think the price of a night should include breakfast also the evening meal was a set price would be nice to have an option for just a meal sometimes you don’t want a four course each evening however the food was really nice on each night

There was a lift but it was not working so I had to climb two flights of stairs to my bedroom. The bathroom was in need of refurbishment, indeed the whole hotel looked 'tired'. The shower in the bath was not good and there were no handles available in case one slipped.

House was dirty and cold, taps didn't work properly, gone off milk and condiments in fridge and presses. They kept the house door unlocked which made me feel unsafe and there was poor communication of who was arriving when so we were woken up terrified at 12.30am to new guests not sure if we were being broken into or they were guests
