Positive section of review
Very handy for T2. Staff were great (except for 1). As it says, it is a budget hotel, so expectations should be in line with that. There is a restaurant and bar service which h are both OK. It you need food and drinks there are also a number if vending machines and a coffee machine with contactless payments. There is also a kettle and tea/coffee in the room and staff happy to provide additional tea/coffee/milk etc on request.

The room was tiny, with barely enough room for 2 adults to move around and nowhere to put suitcases out of the way. Haha ground floor room, so could hear everyone going past dragging wheeled luggage, and unsurprisingly quite noisy with planes taking off regularly from early morning. Not particularly cheap as such, but OK for a lower priced 1 night stay handy for T2. Won't rush back though.

Breakfast was OK. Fruit platter very disappointing. Deceptive parking promotion. This was a deciding factor for us and you misled us as you provide no parking. You should say it is at a parking centre in the town. Discretionary surcharge upon leaving is a veiled attempt at money grabbing when you think people are vulnerable. Lovely view from window!

Cleaner bowls at breakfast. I had to dry the bowl before using as the cleaning attempt by staff did not display much diligence. Dried on cereal from previous use was unexpected. 6 bowls rejected before finding the best of a bad lot.

Room was dated however it was clean. It doesnt provide value for money I stay in hotels for work and stay in better for less money. Staff were polite and the breakfast was okay the bread was frozen on the bread compartments and hot food dried up just needs some more attention to keep breakfast looking fresh and stocked up everywhere including cups.

The property was spacious very clean there were televisions in the bedrooms as well as the living room. The beds were so comfortable there was a lovely large bathroom with shower and bath very clean the kitchen had all the amenities you could ask for. Just a lovely apartment.

I needed somewhere last minute as my last booking cancelled on me in the evening. This place did the job. It had a clean room, with all I needed. There was tea making facilities minus the kettle.. there was a tv, room to store clothes, plugs, hairdryer and mostly decent.

The bed was lumpy and so were the pillows. Having to readjust my position throughout the night was so pleasant. It did the job I guess. There wasn’t any blinds on the window and strange ladders outside. I was a little paranoid someone would see me dressing as the bathroom was too tight to do so properly. The bathroom was clean and had anything I needed but tight space.

A few miles from the city centre, but a great quiet location, a couple of minutes walk for public transport, so the city and Heaton Park in easy reach, plenty of space for parking and a great old cottage
