Super setting, can understand why it's so popular for weddings. Room was clean and nicely appointed with plenty of amenities, including a very comfortable and enormous bed. The relaxing chair overlooking the grounds and duck pond was a nice touch. Lovely walk-in shower and a huge floor standing bath. Evening meal in the elegant Oak Room was delicious and extremely well presented. The waiting staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Very tasty breakfast with plenty of choice.

Bar service polite although a little slow due to a wedding taking place. There's plenty of parking but some spaces were poorly positioned, so difficult to access.

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish, it was very cozy inside, clean and the interior was really lovely. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which helped the relaxing weekend getaway we wanted. The hot tub with the views was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very private. Thank you for the complimentary hamper. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a cozy and relaxing stay.

Very spacious and comfortable, well appointed room. Pleasant, friendly and polite staff. Enjoyed a very good dinner in the bar/restaurant. Would recommend the hotel, and would certainly stay there again.

Spacious and well presented rooms with a private kitchen area as we had booked both rooms. Friendly and welding staff and delicious food in the restaurant. Would definitely stay there again.

Close to train station and the academy 2 ,big spacious room and offered an excellent full English breakfast buffet style and also Continental breakfast, Great price for a one night stay

Lovely comfortable room. Went for meal in restaurant, food and service was great. Loved the grab and go breakfast when we were leaving at 3.30 am. All staff were great.
