Instructions to the accommodation were thorough however could use an update. Location in Edinburgh is good, slightly out of the way and walkable. Connections using bus is nearby. The apartment is found in an early twentieth century masonry stone building on the second floor. Large sturdy staircase when entering the building leads you to the apartment. Arriving, you find a lovely and clean mid-twentieth century style four room apartment with one bedroom. The kitchen has been updated with microwave, family size refrigerator, cooking facilities and kitchen sink. The bathroom is small with large tub. Living room is good size with modern TV, wifi and seating. Bedroom has good size double bed and wardrobes. The windows throughout are wonderful, opening and letting in fresh air. At night the area fell quiet.

Not the easiest place to find in the dark! In daylight no problem. The bed has an old spring mattress. The shower in the tub needs repair -- awkward to handle. Walls lacked insulation so one could hear others in the building.

My friend and I stayed with Martin and Cathy and had the best stay ever. What a lovely couple, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was upstairs, large, roomy and warm. All the extra amenities you could want such as tea and coffee and superb body washes in the shower. We received Cornish scones jam and cream on arrival and breakfast the next morning was amazing (better than a hotel). Location just up the hill from the town of Mousehole just a 12min stroll. We can totally recommend this wonderful home as your next stay!

The property was clean & comfortable and had plenty of onsite parking. Lots of information leaflets and documents around the property to get information on things to do. The hotel let us check in early which really helped make the most of our stay. Breakfast was well cooked.

There was not much we didn’t like just a few things that we just wanted to point out. We found the staff although friendly just maybe a little stand offish and only spoke when we spoke with them. The man that served the breakfast always come across that he didn’t want to engage in any sort of chat other than taking your order which is fine but doesn’t make for the friendliest of atmospheres. He also got a couple of bits of our breakfast ordered wrong, we as a couple eat pretty much anything so no much of a problem for us but for others with intolerances could be.

Comfy beds, great staff and vibes especially Alberto. The evening with Sergiej and you was one of the highlights of the entire trip for me.

Shower was cold on one morning, but the next it was pleasently hot. Cold wind was drafting through a closed window, but I asked for a bed farer from it was nice.

nothing really- though having shower in the same area as the toilet- the floor was very wet and so I was scared of tripping a bit- used the towel to put on the floor to soak up the water.

Great location for Poole Park (for Poole parkrun). The flat is new, quite spacious, and high quality.

Everything was fine. Just some small things: I would recommend the provision of cereal/pudding bowls, a warning about the 'no cars' section of the road outside the front door, and a slightly better map for parking, which is just over 200m away from the front door. This is a new development, which is great, but Google hasn't caught up yet.

The apartment was directly next door to a club / bar and because it was very warm they had the side door open all night with music blaring and people running up and down the lane that our bedroom window looked out onto there was also people smoking directly in front of our bedroom when trying to sleep and all we could smell was smoke - there was also a pile of dirty towels in the corner of the downstairs bedroom when we entered which wasn’t great
