  This little pod is a joy as are its hosts and the friendly chickens and pigs. It has absolutely everything you could want or need. It’s so private and quiet. We sat happily with our fire pit at night, slept amazingly well as it’s so comfortable and it’s well located for popping into Alnwick. Just a perfect place to get away and can’t wait to come back. Waking up to share breakfast with the chickens was bliss.

  Ideally located near Oxford Street, Thistle was very close to the office I visited. It is virtually in the second lane from Marble Arch, so restaurants and shops are within easy reach. Thistle is a good hotel which even has gym.

  The washbasin was clogged when I arrived. The plumber was sent within 30 minutes. However, despite repairing the washbasin the drain rate was poor. The curtains are not fully blackout and hence couldn't sleep beyond 05 30 hours in the morning.

  Location was excellent. Property was good size and well laid out in terms of hosting for a large group.

  The property was not clean at all. There was dirty food left behind. Broken glass. Dirty marks on walls, floors and doors. Had not been hoovered. Mattress very stained. Bathrooms very unhygienic. We spent hours cleaning it every day to try to combat smell and make it feel enjoyable. Had to buy candles and cleaning products. Very disappointing and was glad to leave.
