Beautiful location to enjoy walking in the Yorkshire Dales. The host was very helpful in giving us all the information we needed to make the most of our visit. While we weren’t serious walkers taking on the peaks we wanted to enjoy walking in the area to make the most of the beautiful views. He drew up a detailed map which allowed us to complete a two hour circuit which included views of the Ribblehead Viaduct. Loved walking amongst the sheep in the stonewalled fields.

The view was absolutely breathtaking over the top of Ambleside. The building was beautiful. The beds were luxurious and so comfortable. Amazing choice for breakfast. Location is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and amenities. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We wished we were able to stay longer.

The car parking is a little tight but it was fine for a small car.

We loved the location of the hotel to the airport as it made it very easy for our flight the next day. The trains go directly to the Terminals. The breakfast set up was huge and catered for a massive amount of people. Lots of choice for breakfast. The hotel room was a standard size with a small bathroom.

At a farm. Nice and peacefull. Didnt want for more from this short break. Excellent walk in shower.friendly proprietor (lived notfar from accommodation but not intrusive) Easy parking at door. Patio to nice views and garden furniture.

Pool and Gym were excellent. Room was spacious. Reception staff very welcoming and attentive.

Inexperienced bar staff letting small screaming children climb over the bar. Only one type of towel for a couple not one each. Rubbish not emptied daily from room. Broken bathroom door. Poor room sound insulation. Huge gap under main door.

Filthy, foul stench, not fit to stay in, mould, stained mattress, not been cleaned, absolutely everything was filthy, you couldn’t see the glass in the cooker for dirt. I’m appalled booking.com would even allow this property to be advertised. I did not stay in this apartment and was told it would be cleaned by booking.com this did not happen, and I did not get a refund.
