Beautiful hotel! Rooms spotless, beds actually comfortable, even my daughter's camp bed! Loved the bathroom with the stand-alone bath; powerful shower too. Just strange that out room had no window, just a remote-controlled skylight with blind. The restaurant was beautiful also, as was the food. We were even offered at complimentary drink each! Breakfast was also of a high standard and plenty to choose from; all table service. Overall, we had a fantastic stay in this little "Mecca" in the middle of nowhere! Thank you to all! Would definitely recommend.

The food service was extremely slow. We waited an hour between stater and main courses. It then took a half an hour to get one coffee afterwards, then the bill.

Zen Den Studio #2 is a very cozy place to stay for one or two nights. While the location is not very big, it has nice and modern facilities (smart tv, modern shower, clothing iron, fridge, option to cook). Since I knew I would just be in the studio to sleep and get ready to explore the city, it's size was no issue. It is a perfect location if you want to explore the centre of London, which is easy to reach by tube/bus. When you go back to the Studio after a tiring day, you can walk along the main road filled with lovely restaurants.

The door works with an electrical lock. Sometimes you can hear the buttons of the neighbours being pressed, but it sounds like they are trying to enter your appartment. This isn't a big problem, but a bit unsettling when you go to sleep. In such situations an actual key (to lock the door while sleeping) would be nice. A spare set of linnen for the bed would also be nice, since one of the pillows had a stain on it when I arrived.

Really lovely stay, Emily couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Perfect location, tucked away a little off the main road but very close still to the beach and pubs/shops etc. The garden view is gorgeous. Thanks for having us!

Breakfast was nice, large cost for what we got but that was our choice, I suppose. The hotel had some beautiful features - a pianist in the bar for example. The room facilities were good - mini fridge, safe and tv.

The room was outdated and not very impressive at all. The food in the bar was very disappointing - we had salmon and creme cheese sandwhiches that tasted premade - the bread was stale. The floor in the bar was filthy as well - just really disappointing.

The evening food was fab and a lovely breakfast included would stay here again lovely village the pub was great very reasonably priced and lots of walks near by would highly recommend

mating season for seagulls, could do with spikes on window sill to stop them landing on it as there quite noisy early morning ! cheap and easy fix ; ) As ever traffic wardens extremely keen be aware !

The size of the bedroom and ensuite. Much smaller than expected from the photos. The door to the shower opens into a tight space making it difficult to step easily into the shower. The pillows were very hard causing neck pain so I slept on the cushions instead. I had booked a ground floor room for health reasons and on arrival was told we were on the first floor (which we would have booked if there was a lift) but this was soon rectified.
