Lovely little cottage. Comfortable suite and beds. Very clean. Good amenities. Everything you could possibly need available. Went on a canal boat cruise. Very scenic and really funny commentary about the local area. Lovely surrounding areas, went to a Wedding from the cottage,good local taxi firm recommended by Andy. Great for people- watching overlooking the canal. Enjoyable time had by all.

Only little minor things. One of the party struggled with the stairs and the banister goes very narrow in the middle. Once we worked out how to warm the place up we were fine and how to work the cooker,shower etc. Just little teething problems.

The hotel was furnished to a high standard with thick carpets and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom, Although small, had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. Very close to the sea front.

Very little but if I had to be picky, a plug socket near the bed would have been useful for charging my phone (and keep it in arms reach), on arrival, I had no option but to park on double yellow lines to check in a there was nowhere nearby to park. It's advertised as a 24hr reception but you can only check in till 8pm, which due to holiday traffic, nearly missed. The free parking spaces were very tight and hard to get into it. I struggled getting out of the car and was nervous all holiday about finding my car damaged when I left.

I liked the location. Excellent. Near the tube and train stations and bus stops. The room was small but quite nice. The wait staff in the restaurant were excellent and dinner were reasonable.

Lovely helpful staff and our ròom was spotless.It is in a lovely location next to a nice green park and plenty of shops, including an Aldi, but the street is not too busy at all.

On arrival we were given a room which we had to complain about because the bed was all marked did not look clean. We were offered another room which at first glance seemed okay then we realised the pillows and pillowcases were Mark and stained Chair really shower not clean properly, carpet stained and not hoovered under the bed The tea tray was all stained as well when you go on the website you get the impression that the rooms are bigger than they are. They shouldn’t be showing a kitchen and sofa when you’re booking a double or twin room gives you false information. I do not think it’s value for money which was a shame as the pub is lovely and food is excellent. Also the staff are very polite so overall it is just the bedrooms that let it down and all it would need is an update photos put on the website and maybe some of the Furniture and the carpets updated as well. Nobody likes to go into a room with stained chairs and stains all over bedding off putting we did take photographs to back up our comments such a shame as a Rooms could look stunning The pub is lovely and outside sitting area is lovely too plus it’s disappointing you cannot get breakfast on site, unusual when they’re offering you rooms to stay in, So you have to drive somewhere for breakfast, which is An inconvenience
