  Waverley was a beautiful old house with plenty of room for all 10 of us on our girls' weekend. The beds were really comfy. There was plenty of kitchen paraphernalia for all our needs, along with a great coffee machine. The WiFi was good and quick enough for all of us. The rooms were lovely and had some beautiful views. The robes were a lovely touch. Best of all was the location, it was only a short walk into town, or to the lake. In all, we had a fabulous time, and I would definitely stay here again.

  The parking instructions weren't super clear, so the cars were out on the road for the first night. Not a problem, just an observation. I was sad there were no recycling facilities.

  I was surprised to see that the kitchen area is hidden in a cupboard, and its genius! I really enjoyed my stay, though you really can hear the footsteps of the other room above you and a bit of noise outside. Still, i had a wonderful rest. I like the shower as well, the bathroom is good for 1 person.

  The sink in the bathroom is a bit small, and the faucet is in the way when you try to wash your face or brush your teeth.

  The room was comfortable and clean. Easy check in. Location was ideal for the train station and the town centre I would definitely stay again if it's available

  I do feel a table lamp would have been ideal as the light switch is the far side of the room from the bed. Also a shower mat as I did slip a couple of times, though I have a dodgy leg.
