Location was perfect, right in the centre of Coventry and very easy to find. Really appreciated the easy check in and out. Bed was very comfy and there were more than enough plug sockets. Easily had enough space to work (both in terms of desk space and the do not disturb sign being respected).

The coffee machine didn't seem to be working (couldn't heat water). Hallways kinda smelled like someone ignored the no smoking rule, and the walls are a bit thin (though I didn't have any issues with noise levels during quiet hours)

Absolutely amazing venue. Very lucky to have great weather and be able to spend a lot of time outdoors. We arrived and there was a few guys from the hotel doing a bbq.. they came over with a few bits to try and gave us a free beer out of their ice box!

We had a table at L'Enclume in the evening which is usually about a 10 minute taxi ride. However there are very few taxis and 0 buses running on a Saturday night. We managed to get a taxi in the end after a lot of messing about for around £10. This is in no way a negative of the hotel but just a heads up if you plan to make your way into Carmel!

Pleasant staff. Quiet after midnight It was lovely to see people sitting outside at tables socialising in good weather but a lot of rubbish lying around next morning+wad not cleared up at midday when we left.

Lovely choice on the breakfast menu and all served to your table. We were in the room that had not been refurbished yet, but it was still a lovely clean room. Lovely friendly hosts.
