Positive section of review
It is a classic city hotel. Means the rooms are a bit smaller. When booking, you should make sure that there are rooms without windows. We didn't think that was bad, because you're only there to sleep anyway. In the hallway there is coffee and tea for free. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was also very good.

The room has a bit less storage space, as they are more likely to focus on design than functionality. The rooms were a bit dusty. A little more attention could be paid to this.

Nothing exceptional other than the receptionist who checked us in moved her car so we could park as my husband is a blue badge holder and the main car park is a short walk away. The staff were obliging and extremely polite but stressed due to multi tasking!

Decor very tired in restaurant area and bedroom. Staff appear to multi task and under stress which meant we had to wait for our food orders to be taken. Long delays as more staff required. Very noisy due to a lot of non residents in bar and outside which we could hear in our room.

I liked that it was in town. Staff were friendly. And the locals. Bedroom was clean and also clean bathroom.ideal providing ear plugs definitely needed but stqy in a pub you know it will be noisy. Breakfast was really nice and very well laid out.

Really do need thicker curtains as they really didn't provide any darkness when sun rose in the morning. Hot water didn't seem to be too warm either
