We really liked the location. Every time you looked through the window you were surrounded by hills. Very quiet place. Love it from first sight. Inside the cottage was everything we wished for. It was clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. We felt at home. The owners guidance and support was also excellent. Highly recommend this place.

The room was very light and spacious, bathroom facilities were great. Surrounding walks were excellent, maps for walks staff were happy to give out and very knowledgeable All the staff very friendly and helpful The pub had a lovely ambience, beautiful beer garden

The road was busy and very fast traffic, noisy from bedroom too. Carpark is over the road, we didn’t feel very safe crossing or walking on this road due to the speed of the traffic. The dinner was ok but thought it was a bit overpriced for the quality, the pie was very full but pastry a bit stodgy and hard around the edges, not enough vegetables with the dinner, although the breakfast was very nice, quality and proportion size. Not sure we would stay again due to the very busy road.

Great location, walking distance from Paddington Station. Lot's of cafes, pubs etc close by. A very vibrant area.

We were downstairs, so below street level. You could hear the trains from the Underground at this level. It didn't bother us, but it may be an issue for some.

For the price we paid, our room was basic. Only instant coffee. The bed was not comfortable, I could feel the springs in the mattress.
