Lovely hotel, breakfast was delicious, staff very polite and courteous, large rooms and bathroom. It was located on a bus route and we chose the hotel as it was close to family who live there.

Noise from other residents and the floorboards in room creaked really badly.

The large rooms and hallways. The grandness of the foyer. The calmness of a fully booked hotel. Best breakfast I’ve ever seen in a hotel. So many options.

I think that some oil diffusers in the hallways and rooms would help with the ambiance. Especially coming up from the spa it would continue the flow senses wise. I like the smell in pentahotels. Sure they use white tea and jasmine or something of the like. That adds extra feels.

Thin walls and doors make you hear everything going on in the corridor and rooms next to you. Draughty windows and thin and thin quilt make it quite cold at night. Wi-fi disconnets once you stop using your phone.

Bedroom - not much room around bed, bed was way too high to even sit on comfortably. Porridge at breakfast was brought out after cooked breakfast was served. Staff harassed us to take dinner order then were no where to be seen when we were ready to order. Two burgers were overcooked, millefeuille pastry dessert was like cardboard and tasteless. Wedding party in lounge meant there was no where to sit after dinner apart from restaurant and staff were a little impatient for us to leave.

The room we booked said we'd have a mini bar and a coffee machine!!! We got a kettle and no mini bar.
