Staff were nice and helpful, close to transport links, one staff member wanted to charge 3.50 per bag storage, but the other allowed it for free. Unfortunately it wasn't the best stay for many reasons, no fault of the workers. With the state of repair of the building, it is hard for it to appear clean, but I saw it being hoovered and mopped in the mornings. It didn't feel majorly unsafe, but there was a man shouting outside late one night.

Had a double room, others were dorm rooms so unsure how many people could actually be staying, but there certainly weren't enough toilets for all - with only one separate and two in bathrooms that were out of bounds if someone was using the shower in each. There were two separate showers and again the two showers in the bathrooms. There were only two small sinks in use with no soap, which were in these two bathrooms. The toilets didn't flush properly. The condition of the building was very poor with holes in the ceilings. The sound travelled so badly it was as if people were in the room with you, a very disrupted sleep with all the noise, slamming doors, the beeping code being put in the door from the pub, a squeaky bed everytime you moved and single glazed windows with gaps. Considering the price difference between a dorm bed and the double bed, you got no benefits at all. There was one used wet towel hanging behind the door on arrival. One flat pillow each, which gave a bad neck. Light switch behind the wardrobe. No kitchen or lounge area, just the pub. Cleaners didn't enter the room to tidy during 4 night stay. Lock on the bedroom door not the best security, unless you realise you need to jumble letters for it to relock.

Loved the bed, super comfy! The shower is also fantastic! So nice to be able to bring our support dog and know he's treated just like one of the family, that's what he is. Well done to the staff, you do a fabulous job, check-in was super easy and done with a pleasant smile.

I love this hotel. It is quiet, clean, comfortable and the staff were warm and welcoming. The eating area is bright and cheerful, and I was very pleased to see the vegan options that were offered. Highly recommended.

Close to town. Beautiful setting. Exceptionally clean. Hosts were lovely. The breakfast was outstanding. Lots of little touches, biscuits, mints and lovely toiletries. Fresh milk available in room.

No heating and Luke warm water in bathroom both evening and morning. The bedding was insufficient considering there was no heating on.
