I liked the fact that booking.com was so helpful to me in a stressful situation. I liked the fact that I could speak to a live person every time I called and not an automated service. I liked Jo, the member of staff whom the landlord sent around to the property. She was wearing a suit dress, carrying a plunger to unblock the bathroom sink! I love the fact booking.com gave me compensation for my complaints about this property!

When I arrived, the property was filthy ( dirty cooker and hood), dirty bathroom, blocked bathroom sink ,filthy black/green limescale in the toilet bowl and I couldn't work the shower, the bath taps leak as well. The fridge was switched off and was provided with tea and coffee sachets, but no milk or sugar to greet guests. The kitchen sink tap is hanging off and can be turned in every direction. Brown stains on the bed sheets and ni spare sheets provided. It was advertised as a double bed, but was actually two single beds ( on wheels, on laminatefloor) pushed together that easily moved because of the wheels. The tv has no ariel, so no TV channels only apps ( have to use TV apps ( YouTube, itvx sign in, etc ). I complained to booking.com, and they contacted the host ,who sent his agent and plumbers around the following day. I contacted the host via booking.com message app asking for compensation, and he refused and said : prime location, entire property, etc ,trying to justify the outrageous price for this shack of a property! Holes and cracks in the walls, not finished to a standard or made good. No baking trays, sieves, chopping board, garlic crusher, etc. No iron or ironing board. No mop and bucket to clean up after yourself. No cleaning products to use. There are no cushions on the wooden dining chairs. There is/ was nothing cosy about this place. Even the lighting was way too bright, with no dimmed lights or lamps. The lamp in the bedroom was so bright. I was nearly blinded when i switched it on during the night ,when i woke up for the loo. it is basically a semi furnished 1 bedroom flat. There is also a safety issue with this property, it has previously been let out to a tenant, and the landlord did not change the locks, the tenant tried to access the door to the property during the first night of my stay, but heard me talking and decided against it.

Perfect location being only 10 mins drive from the airport. Property exactly as described with the advantage of a large driveway to park your car overnight. Very safe area and excellent value. Should you want a traditional old pub with decent food and real ale, Ye Old Six Bells a 10minute walk away so no need to drive. Daniel responded very quickly to any queries and checked on our day of arrival everything OK

Nothing to not like about the property, however just a note that should you want to buy anything from the local Premier Shop nearby, it closes at 8pm.

Location was reasonably central and close enough to the Pavillion, where we had come to perform. The house was clean and reasonably appointed, although the range seemed overkill at the expense of kitchen surface in the small kitchen.

It was cold the first night, until we realised that the radiators had been turned to frost protection ... That was quickly fixed though! Nothing was sufficiently bad that we wouldn't go there again.

It's a room in a flat in a big high-rise building in what seems to be the low-income neighborhood. Nothing particularly bad about it, just not what I expected. There weren't any problems really but I wish there were more pictures or descriptions letting you know about the place and area.

Room uncomfortably hot despite setting air con to 15 degrees and having window open as far as the small limit.Wash basin all style but lacking substance,eg shallow and turning tap on causes water to wash up to the front and wet your feet and the floor. Hotel car parking tight to enter and spaces exceptionally narrow

Cleaning of shower room could have been more thorough. Washbasin always felt scummy. Overflow black mildew. Taps not well cleaned around base. No toilet brush. No extra toilet roll left on last day. Had wash in shower. No shower/shampoo provided.

The fact I had to change my room twice (due to fridge not working and then wrong bed size) and even after changing twice room aircon was not working. No-one answered call when called room service/reception to complain. A refund of £19 car-parking fee was promised as gesture of good-will for having to change room twice (which hasn’t been refunded) and no-one was at the reception desk when checking-out so that I could raise the complaint about the air-conditioning not working. I’ve been to better and cheaper Radisson Blu Hotels abroad and never had a problem.
