I arrived late after a long trip from S America and an email let me know that my keys were available in a lock box. Slept like a dream in a large comfortable bed and then had a huge tasty breakfast. Great friendly staff and located perfectly in the W end of Glasgow (I was visiting the university)

We enjoyed an excellent stay at Westwood House! Nothing was too much! Our room was lovely, the breakfasts delicious and Carl and Jocelyn were delightful! We had no idea of the wonderful sights, walks and history that are part of Dorchester! We highly recommend Westwood House for your stay there!

Responsive and friendly host who I spoke to over the phone. The facility was spotless. Fully stocked kitchen for breakfast, hot drinks and snacks. The room was comfortable, had a heater, towels and hangers were provided for. It was a walking distance to Liverpool university hospital.

One of the mattresses on the bed had a sunken middle. It didn’t matter to me because I didn’t use it, but it will need replacement for any guest sleeping in it.

I ask about a mini fridge because my husband had just had a knee replacement a few weeks before and had to keep putting an ice pack on his knee and they provided that with no problem. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Just a bit expensive. Lovely breakfast

It was quirky Staff were excellent and food was really good….. very dog friendly no restrictions on where we could eat which was lovely….

Bathroom was in need of updating….. unfortunately the bath was too deep, the stairs were very steep which I know cannot be changed but would have appreciated being told of this….

We had a double “superior” that had nothing of superior, old bathroom an extra bed (not requested), no fridge in the room, no safe. I wouldn’t spend again these money there. It’s a 4star on the appearance, for sure not worthy.

Didn’t seem to be able to set the temperature on the heater in the pod so often for too hot and had to turn on and off at mains. Bad pillows.

If this wasn't listed as a 5 star hotel I would have said it's fine, but given the classification, the hotel is sub par. No elevator, the stairs are at an angle, because the entire hallway is slanted to one side. The airco makes a nice little noise like someone smoking a bong (I assume the water pump that pushed the condensed water out, is not working properly) there if a gas leak sensor that has a bright green light above the bed (that is on all night, which definitely helps with a good night sleep), single glazed windows and blinds that are partially broken.
