  Very enjoyable two night stay. From the very first contact with a member of staff, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was excellent and it and the bathroom were both immaculately clean. We ate in the main bar on our first night and had superb meals (mushroom stroganoff and chicken fajitas), backed up by very good and friendly service. Breakfast was taken in a very smart restaurant on the first floor, complete with some 60's rock group posters (most prominently of The Who). We paid £110 per night, including breakfast, which was ridiculously good value. The most impressive thing here however was the staff. The owner (a lady, I believe) must be doing something right to have such a well-motivated, friendly and efficient workforce. Our best venue to stay at for a short break by a mile.

  Location was good, very quick and easy to get to the NEC, just off the main road. The price was good compared to others

  The bed was super hard and pillows too stiff, the hotel is a little run down, I had to get the inner window back on it's running track to help reduce local road noise.
