      We had the best 3 nights in the cabin. We were 10 minutes drive from Barmouth which was beautiful and buzzing with friendly people who gave us some brilliant recommendations for activities, and then had lovely peace and quiet every time we returned to the cabin. We even had the cutest dog as company on a couple of the days. We’d go back tomorrow if we could.

      Breakfast was not as expected as delivery of some of the products had not arrived, however the chef compensated by doubling up on what he did have. Views from our room were lovely, staff very helpful.

      Tables at breakfast could have been cleared a bit quicker. Little touches like having a side plate and butter knife would have been nice also a teaspoon ! We were unaware we had to put the 'make up my room' notice on the door so our room was not serviced, it would have been nice to have been told this arrangement Noisy at night as our room was over the main entrance

      Location was very noisy, and the curtains itself let in a lot of light. Requested a later check out but wasn’t afforded one

      Nice location just a few steps from Gatwick south terminal. Very good if you have an early morning flight the next day.

      Somehow cold atmosphere. I know it’s part of the corporate image Hilton has, but would have preferred something more cozy and warm. Staff was very professional and kind.

      I booked and initially paid £129 but decided to pay an extra £20 for an upgrade to a better room. When we arrived it was not a better room. It was for someone needing disabled access. The room was in a terrible state. It could only be accessed through an external firedoor, after leaving the Inn. The view was awful - a dirty blank wall. I complained and was told that the Inn had "problems as there was no communication with booking.com". I was asked to pay an additional £20 for an upgrade. The trip was part of our 30th Wedding Anniversary celebrations so I decided to go ahead and pay the extra. The room we were given was awful. It was very small - the bathroom was tiny, as was the sink; barely room to wash with terrible lighting. The staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. We were not given assistance in finding either room but simply given vague instructions on directions. When we came down to dinner, there was no service, and no signs explaining what the procedure was etc. We sat down at a table and reviewed the menu but were ignored by all the staff. Eventually I found someone to ask - she told me food was ordered at the bar. If I had not taken the initiative we would probably still be there! We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Breakfast was just as bad. When we arrived, after the stated start time, there was no hot food. There were no eggs at any time. We were glad to leave.
