Nothing, the hotel was without doubt the worst I had ever stayed in. From the moment I entered the hotel to the moment I left was diabolical. I booked for 3 nights and had to leave after the first night. The manager refused to give any reimbursement for the balance of the nights, they just said that the booking was non- cancellable. I tried to explain that cancellation is should apply if you want to cancel prior to arrival and not in a situation where you are forced to leave a property as it is simply unfit for occupation. The hotel is situated within a couple of hundred metres of Gatwick's runway so the aircraft noise is unbearable, I eventually got to sleep around 1.00 am to be woken by the occupants of the room next door leaving at 4.00 am (presumably for an early flight). The description of the hotel as a "peaceful and secluded space" is a farce. Don't be fooled for the online photos, they are extremely deceptive.

Everything but to be more specific: the bathroom floor was mouldy, the shower cubicle filthy, the aircraft noise, the check in procedure, the overall cleanliness of the room and public areas. I could go on but hopefully you get the picture of what a terrible hotel this is. My strong recommendation is don't stay here.

There was no Breakfast included, but liked that there was somewhere to prepare and eat food if needed. We appreciated the ability to put a bottle of milk and some food items in the fridge in the Kitchen at the property, as the one in our room was a little to small for this purpose. Very comfortable bed, and the property was nice and quiet at night. The hosts were very friendly and asked regularly if there was anything else that we required.

The main light switch and the light switch for the en-suite Bathroom were a little too far away (by the door). Although I appreciate it is only a smallish room, it was a little inconvenient.

Very good stay and from checking in on Saturday afternoon until checking out Monday morning everything was great. Breakfast was ideal with plenty of choice and the hot options were nice and hot.

people getting chucked out the hotel at 5 in the morning, fire alarm going off early hours in the morning, was very cold and there was a decent size gap bellow the door so could hear absolutely everything
