      The breakfast was great. Lots of choice well cooked. It was very busy. Top tip when you check in the staff will asked you what time will you want breakfast. It's not an approx time. This is made as a booking so you must attend at that time or wait in lounge until a table is available. It is well placed to stay in town as it's very central. Modern feel inside..don't let the outside put you off. The parking is £15 not £10 that some reviews say. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

      There was a very musty smelling stairwell you have to walk through to get to carpark. The bath was very slippy and even though I held on to handle , husband pre warned me, with one leg out of the bath I fell and banged my leg on the edge of the bath. I have a massive bruise now. So be careful.

      The hotel has recently been refurbished. The rooms were clean and the staff, who had only been there a few weeks were excellent. Could not do enough for you.

      Service in the restaurant was a bit slow, that was okay for dinner but the breakfast service needs to be a bit faster. The breakfast is expensive at £15 per head. There was no fruit salad only a choice of juices and the continental consisted of 2 types of meat and cheese and some croissants. The cooked breakfast was fine, but it’s not worth the £15pp

      On first impressions the room looked nice...however then you realise not much is working and things are missing which should be there in the room.

      A host of things; The 'river view' was not a river view. The air conditioning was not working. The wardrobe was missing totally. The TV was not working initially but was rectified eventually. We chose this room off the description and expected to receive what the description stated. Very disappointed overall and their description of what is included definitely needs to be changed because it is totally misleading.

      Early checking in was told by hotel it was £10 PER PERSON which I thought was a bit excessive ......... ..extra £20 ..to book in a bit earlier after 1.00pm... I think it was . No where to put bath bags in bathroom shelf not big enough

      This was our fourth visit since 2020, has gone downhill rapidly. Shower and terrace door were broken but maintenance came very quickly, had trouble with hand towels not being replaced, room was quite grubby, we came back one afternoon to find our terrace door had been left open by the cleaners. breakfast was very disappointing obviously now geared to the coach holiday trade. Will have to think very carefully before going back such a shame as it was very good when we first went there

      Tired, needs decorated. Needs deep clean. Had to chase owner for property access information opposed to being sent automatically, caused me to think there was perhaps something wrong with my booking. Unnecessary stress

      it was billed as a Hotel but it was apartment rooms. Please Booking.com stop putting so many Air B and B type places that call themselves Hotels when they really aren't and just have clever photos. This 'hotel' was totally misrepresented. I didn't stay
