The hut was a wonderful place to be, even just chilling inside when it was pouring rain on our 2nd day of stay. The board games provided were more than enough to keep us busy while watching the surroundings behind the window. We managed to visit the recommended beaches and Kidwelly Castle as well (the hosts gave us a list, and I'm very grateful for it). We also enjoyed a BBQ and the hot tub at sunset. It was very private, and everything was great. The water pressure was even better than our flat in London 😅. All the amenities were functioning, and Coop and Londis are nearby. Check-in and check-out were easy. Peter and Ann are fantastic hosts who really care about their guests' experience, and they have really thought this place through.

We were a little further out of town than we anticipated however that wasn’t a problem. The apartments were lovely and clean, furnished nicely, had comfy beds. It took us a while to work out how to work the air conditioning- may be worth leaving some instructions for the panel for future. Other than that, had an excellent stay!

I booked the cottage room, which had a small kitchen with a microwave. I didn't have time to make much use of it, but for a longer stay it would be great, and good for anyone on a budget. The location is very good indeed - quiet and close to the river, but a short walk from the city centre.

Location is great. Indoor and outdoor relaxation areas are great. Love the live music every night.

No free WiFi in the room. They said that free WiFi is available in the common areas, but very bad reception. Also they probably jammed the phone networks, so my usual phone and internet were not working inside the room. Very frustrating.

The decor is getting quite shabby in places. Our room was quite cold and the wall mounted air conditioning unit was broken which meant one space was too cold to sit in and it also looked a bit scruffy with a broken unit on the wall. The upstairs bedroom was nice and cosy which was most important
