Everything was clean, modern, and felt safe. The host video-called us to guide us to the accomodation parking, as the road was closed due to upgrades, this was very kind. Although, it would have been useful to know about this detour in the pre-arrival message exchange beforehand.”

  The location was very handy for our group. My room was lovely, and the fact I could park my motorbike at the rear of the property.

  Very clean, open plan space. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all the things we needed.

  Extremely poor ventilation meant that upstairs was unbearably hot resulting in two very poor nights of sleep. Can’t open the windows because the traffic noise was bad enough with it closed. The window next to the bed in the front room doesn’t have any frosting to block the view of people passing. Couldn’t get properly cold water through the shower. Balcony at the back completely overlooked. Parking was an issue because of the cycling event. We were quite stressed until we realised we could stay in the NHS car park over the weekend and put in a donation which wasn’t mentioned in the folder. It’s the first place I’ve stayed at in a long time not to have soap, enough toilet roll or any milk/bread/biscuits etc as a welcome to the cottage.

  Property has all the basics needed for a stay. It was clean.

  The windows are single glazed, with constant train noise at night and a busy road out front. The mattress is thin, lumpy and has no springs… I had to sleep on the sofa. Needs some TLC, the shower door was off its rails, the front door feels flimsy and the wardrobe has no hangers or space to hang anything.
