Beautiful views from bar ! Breakfast brilliant but only one coffee machine which for the size of hotel is ridiculous! Bed comfortable- nice sheets! Nice pool not enough seating !

Long walks to get anywhere! Double room you couldn’t swing a cat in! Bed tiny only one bedside table, could barely get out the bed as So near to wall! Bar prices for food were overpriced for what you got! Outside area nice but no cushions on chairs and Very young people were working the bar so presentation of outside area was a mess! We arrived and the bar was under construction which was disappointing! You had to pay extortionate price for slippers and dressing gowns! £40 a head! So we brought our own ! Smallest changing rooms in pool! Sauna not working ! No lifts so that would be a big no no for a lot of people! Reception check in area very disappointing for such a grand house! Not nice at all! Lots of golf buggy’s about but no offer to take visitors to certain parts of hotel which would have been nice especially when it’s raining!

It was small but still enough space for 4 of us and a dog and its location a stone’s throw from the beach was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed

Perfect for our short stay attending a wedding. Just a few minutes from the reception venue. Clean and comfortable. Great communication with owner

Great location for exploring the Dales, proximity to local pubs, modern well-equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. Good wifi.

Parking - the property provided 2 passes for the local car park in case of difficulty parking outside the house, but these had run out 3 weeks prior to our stay. Despite trying messaging, emailing and phoning the local representatives we had no response during our stay and had difficulty finding suitable places to park in the village. Property would benefit from a bit of redecoration as it’s looking tired in places - lots of chips on the skirting boards and the laminate flooring downstairs looks cheap and is failing in places, plus wallpaper downstairs looks like it’s from the 1970s! TV was really basic and really needs to be upgraded to a smart TV. We think the layout could be optimised, particularly by making more of the lovely feature inglenook fireplace, plus the extra single bed in the main bedroom is unnecessary and annoying. It could be an amazing property but needs some work and thought to bring it up to the same standard as the kitchen and bathroom.

The sheets were stained and smelt funny. Was not that cleaned properly breakfast is on the other side of the motorway which is an inconvenience. Walking over the foot bridge in the rain with children, which is not advertised on the booking.
