Lovely location, pleasant staff, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect and refreshed every day. Handy to the village centre and eating establishments. No problem finding a parking place for the car. The bed was comfortable and the outlook from front room was great. We would stay again

Lovely little apartment. Clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. Felt like home from home. Private entrance. Hostel answered questions within 30 minutes and was very helpful. Great location, close to Glenfield Hospital.

Very comfortable bed in a lovely part of the Cotswolds with above average food available in restaurant and great bar staff Staff took my case up the steep narrow stair case - not sure I could have done that myself.

Tiny room with barely room to put my case on the floor Had to get out of bed and complain about the noise about 10pm (early I know but I was jetlagged!) created by the kitchen being jet-blasted by water - it sounded like the cistern was going to blow a gasket. Then it kicked off again at 5.40 am. At check out I wasn't asked if everything was ok with the stay (which should be basic) - I complained politely about the noise and they knocked £30 off the bill. If you're thinking of booking, avoid rooms 4,5&6 and you should be fine

Joseph, the staff member who so admirably looked after me on my previous stay, was just as efficient. A pity that some of his colleagues were not quite so diligent.

I found that the cutlery comprised 3 teaspoons, I dessert spoon and 1 knife. This remained so for the duration. I had a fall in my room and as a result, stained all my bedding with blood. I reported this to reception on Sunday morning and offered to wash all the bedding. I was told not to worry and by the time I returned to my room, it would all have been replaced. This was not the case. I had to see reception but housekeeping was closed. I was given a duvet cover only. So for the remaining 2 nights I had to sleep on a bare mattress. I feel that I should be given a full refund for the whole stay.

Not much to dislike for the price in central Manchester. However, the carpets in the hallways are really stained and dirty-looking, they should really be replaced.

The bed was not comfortable and i got bitten by either mosquitoes or bed bugs and the bed had a damp smell.
